The Ohio State University College of Nursing exists to transform healthcare and improve lives through top-tier teaching, research and innovation, grounded in evidence-based practice and a powerful belief in personal wellness.

Our academic programs offer comprehensive coursework and hands-on experience for future and current healthcare leaders. U.S. News & World Report highly ranks our online master’s (#3), university-wide online bachelor’s including RN to BSN (#4), traditional master’s (#6) and DNP (#8). Majors include both nursing and programs in healthcare and wellness innovation, and certificates range from school nurse and primary care to nurse education and nurse coaching.

The college’s two research centers – the Martha S. Pitzer Center for Women, Children and Youth and the Center for Healthy Aging, Self-Management and Complex Care – seek innovative solutions to healthcare issues. We received approximately $13 million in research awards in FY2020 and rank in the top 15 among colleges of nursing in NIH funding. Our Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-based Practice (EBP) in Nursing and Healthcare promotes EBP worldwide and offers a certificate for demonstrated expertise in EBP. Our college is a five-time recipient of the prestigious HEED Award for our commitment to diversity.
