Essentials of Schedule II Pharmacology and Prescribing for Ohio APRNs

This independent study has been developed for Ohio Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to gain knowledge legal and ethical implications of prescribing schedule II drugs . This study discusses Chapter 4723-9 Ohio Administrative Code and other laws found in Chapter 4723 of the Ohio Revised Code specifically affecting APRNs.  

Learning Outcome:  Learners will demonstrate an increased knowledge of advanced pharmacology and the legal and ethical implications related to prescribing in Ohio by achieving a score of 80% or better on a post-test.

Criteria for Successful Completion:
Complete all modules and knowledge checks.
Completion of the post-test with a minimum of a 80% score and submission of an evaluation at the end of the course.
4.0 Contact Hours of Category A (Nursing Law and Rules) and Pharmacology will be awarded for successful completion of this independent study.
